Wyvern

Wyvern is an Indie, old-school graphical MMO-RPG, inspired by games like Gauntlet, Nethack, and Ultima IV. Wyvern is a huge and diverse world: the game has been around 20+ years and is in continuous development. We are excited to bring the game to Steam, with new features and content. Gameplay The game features a top-down, tiled-based 2D view, with real-time combat and adventuring. An important part of the gameplay is the text output area, on the right. The game tells you in text what's happening, and you can also see chat messages and other information there. The game window also includes views of your spells, your inventory, your stats, custom views for other situations. Wyvern is a command-oriented game: There are hundreds of commands you can type: social commands and emotes, appraising and crafting, inventory management and more.
