Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a third-person action-adventure game based on the Ghostbusters franchise. The game features voice acting from the principal cast members from the original movie. Plot The game’s plot is partially based on the script of the unreleased Ghostbusters III movie. The game follows Rookie, a new member of the Ghostbusters team. A large psychokinetic energy wave hits New York which results in releasing many ghosts in the city and providing main heroes with many calls to capture them. During their ghost hunts, Ghostbusters team reveals the plan for merging real word with ghost world and that Ivo Shandor, the architect of 55 Central Park West building is behind it.
