The impact triggered earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions, while debris and dust in the atmosphere led to widespread crop failures and famine. The disruption to the Earth's magnetic field led to the loss of the ozone layer, resulting in a surge of illnesses and mutations from radiation. However, the impact also triggered an incredible acceleration in evolution, granting survivors amazing new abilities.
